Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: The Skyrim World Will Grow To Become Your Own, In The Way You Play It

Why should you buy Elder Scrolls 5? I’ll tell you why. There are countless reasons I could list. I would say the one thing that sticks out the most, and makes it so good is Skyrim’s dynamism!

So what exactly do I mean? Elder Scrolls v is a very organic game to play. It will grow to be a part of you, and through you. It will change and develop with how you play it.

The engine it uses, that was used for Fallout 3, another awesome and original RPG, has been totally rewritten by the development team, to be called the Creation engine.

So what can this engine do? A lot! It creates a realistic and intricately dynamic world. It creates real-time weather systems, intricate detail in vegetation, and wind in the branches of trees, or wind swept channels on the water.

Don’t think that any thing is just stuck in the landscape for a visual effect. The mountains are real. Indeed not. You can really climb right up on top of them.

The other dynamism that can not be praised enough, is the Radiate Story AI that allows for self thinking NPCs, infinite dragons that can show up at anytime and attack the city. Do NPCs have I life of their own? Yes. They will fight over the loot you drop, or go farming and do other activities on their own, sometimes it will be hard to find them, etc.

So what this boils down to is that the world you play in, and the story it tells will change, quests, and NPCs, will adapt to the choices you make in the game. For each player the story will be different.

The introduction of dual wielding is cool. You can use metal with magic, or knives and hammers. You can combine any weapon, and if you use both of the same weapon that will give your attacks even more power.

Using perks you can store, now you can dynamically develop any character you want with any skill set, so cool. Yes it is true you can create a thief wizard, or a guardian assassin, or a captain hunter, or a hunter thief assassin, whatever you want.

Just taking a stroll in any direction, ignoring the main quest lines, you will find something to do. The developers love the little things as much as the big things. A lot of attention has been put into every little detail. So collecting things, or killing animals for their hides has meaning in the game.

I could go on and on, there is so much more to the game than what I have listed here, but if I haven't sold you on it yet, than you probably aren't a serious RPG player. I personally know none RPG players who bought Skyrim.
