Mastering Both Sides Of Blackjack Strategy
Whenever you start to play any sort of gambling game, especially blackjack, you should always have some sort of strategy to use. If you’re just guessing or making random choices when you play it will almost certainly result in a loss.
With blackjack there is more strategy involved that there is with any other casino game, this is because you need to use two at once. One strategy is the decision making side of things – how much you’re going to bet and the other side is the wagering – how much you’re going to bet.
It can be difficult to master both sides of blackjack strategy, for this reason I recommend that you play free blackjack to get used to it. On the one hand, mastering the decision making side of things is fairly easy because there are loads of strategy cards on the net that give you this information.
What these cards are, are simple tables that will tell you how much you should bet for each card combination that there is, so it will be really simple for you. They are completely free to get hold of as well, there is no need to hand money over for one at all.
Due to none of them being guaranteed, and all of them having their good points and bad points, the wagering side of things can be much trickier. One simple method is flat betting when you just bet the same amount on each hand over and over again.
This method is the safest, but the issue is that you will need to be winning more hands than what you lose in order to make a profit, this happening is unlikely. You will need to use the Martingale or a similar system that is progressive in order to beat this, it is a riskier option but you will get longer winning runs as a result.
With the Martingale you start out by betting small and after every losing hand you double your bet. This process is repeated over and over again until you get a winning bet, you will have to go back to betting a small amount at this point.
And when you do win, you will always end up in profit, so looking at it this way, the Martingale is a good strategy. The issue with it however is that you will lose a massive amount of money all at once when you go on a losing run. There is also the issue of table limits to deal with, which will prevent you from endlessly doubling your bets. This is why I like free blackjack; it gives you a chance to practice all the different possibilities at no risk.
