Kindle Vs Nook, Kindle Is Actually 40% Thinner Than Nook, And 1Inch Taller Than Nook
I’ll show you the differences between the coolest e-readers? So what do you want: Kindle vs Nook? So which one is the best in my opinion? Let me point out 11 points through which you can compare them. I truly love Kindle way more. That is my personal experience. There are more reasons to love the kindle than not. But I will let you decide. Also, I think the Kindle has a much brighter future. Anyway here are 11 good points:
-The Size: Kindle is actually 40% thinner than Nook, and 1 inch taller.
-Weight: Kindle is around 3oz lighter than the original Nook. 7oz lighter than Nook Color.
-Battery life: Nook lasts longer. Kindles battery lasts about 4 weeks if not using the Internet, old Nook lasts 2 weeks, but Nook Touch lasts 8 weeks, and Nook Color will last about 8 hours.
-Screen: although the Kindle 3 has a better contrast it is equal to new Nook Touch of 2011. Both of the readers have no glare, except for the color Nook version as it has a LCD screen.
-Navigation: Is better on the Nook, as kindle uses real buttons and a toggle for navigation. Yes Nook has touch screen in different sizes.
-Memory: Kindle rules. It is important to have enough memory so you can take your virtual library with you. Kindles memory is twice as big as Nook. Then again Kindle 3 can not be expanded, but Nooks are expandable, I just don’t like giving out extra money.
-Free books: Both have free books, Kindle has more. Nook supports the public library books epuB. Free .mobi books are abundant online and Kindle supports them. You can get Kindle Books at 11,000 public libraries.
-The greatest: Kindle 3 has 3G free Internet! To bad that Nook Touch and Color only come with WiFi 
-Rating: Nook: 3.7 to 4.3, Kindle has the highest: 4.5
-Price: Kindle is cheaper, with a big book selection. And eBooks are cheaper on Amazon.
-Kindle is smart, and makes it really easy for authors to publish their books on the Kindle, making the Kindle selection incredibly diverse, offering very low priced but high quality independent books.
This is all pointless when you get the new Kindle tablet for a mere $199.00 that can do everything an ipad can do, all I can say is get it now so you don’t have to stand in line.
They will have to do something big to over run the Kindle. Nook isn't bad, but it has a long way to go. On the other hand I think the ibook browsers from Apple on the Ipad is actually better than Kindle. The Amazons book market is huge and not easily beat.
